: a beta-agonist (C19H24N2O4)2·C4H4O4·2H2O that is used as an orally inhaled bronchodilator alone or in combination with another drug (such as budesonide or mometasone) especially to treat asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, and exercise-induced bronchospasm
