: mullerian inhibiting substance

Note: Anti-mullerian hormone is used especially when referring to Mullerian inhibiting substance produced by the granulosa cells of developing ovarian follicles and used in the evaluation of fertility as a diagnostic marker for the remaining pool of developing follicles.
