Typically, abrosexual people experience fluctuations in terms of who they're attracted to as well as how intense their attraction is. Being abrosexual isn't about "changing your mind" or simply using a different label to describe your orientation. It means that your actual experience changes over time.

Note: On multiple Internet forums abro- is claimed to represent Ancient Greek habrós "(of youthful persons) graceful, elegant, refined," "(of a garland, a horse's mane) luxuriant," "(of a people, their way of life) luxurious, indulgent," "exquisite, luxurious, splendid"; the further etymology of this word is obscure. Note that the word occurs as abrós, with psilosis (dropping of aspiration), in the Aeolic dialect used by Sappho, who applied it to the Graces (abraì Chárites).
