: a white or whitish crystalline ester C22H32O3 of testosterone that is used especially in the treatment of postpubertal cryptorchidism and symptoms of andropause, in palliation of inoperable breast cancer, and in the prevention of postpartum pain and breast engorgement, that is usually administered intramuscularly, and that has a half-life of about four hours
