: a monetary unit equal to ¹/₁₀₀ litas used in Lithuania from 1923 until 1940 and from 1991 through 2014

Note: The plural centai is used for denominations two and five, centu is used for denominations ten and over, and centas is sometimes used in English language sources as a general plural.
