Definition of bronze fennel
: any of various ornamental cultivars of the fennel (Foeniculum vulgare) having upright clumps of finely divided, bronze or purplish-bronze leaves In the ornamental bed, bronze fennel looks great in front of a backdrop of bright green foliage.
