What does AF mean?

AF (or af) is an abbreviation of the phrase “as f*ck.” Both the phrase and its abbreviation are used to make a statement more forceful.

Where does AF come from?

The phrase as f*ck originated in African American English and has since become widespread. It has been in use in print since at least the early 1970s. The abbreviation AF is used primarily in online communication, texting, etc.

How is AF used?

In situations where the similar as hell doesn’t quite cut the mustard, or when spelling out as f*ck feels tedious AF.
