: a plant with yellowish flowers and white berries that is traditionally used as a Christmas decoration

Note: Pieces of mistletoe are often hung from the ceiling or in a doorway at Christmastime. According to tradition, if you stand with someone under a piece of mistletoe, you are supposed to kiss that person.
