Biographical Note for darier's disease

  • Darier play \dȧr-yā\, Jean Ferdinand (1856–1938), French dermatologist. Darier is known for classic descriptions of three conditions affecting the skin: the hereditary dermatosis now known as Darier's disease (1889), acanthosis nigricans (1893), and the skin eruptions associated with tuberculosis (1896).
