: a large crocodile (Crocodylus porosus) of East Asia and Indonesia that is a saltwater or brackish water species common about the outlets of rivers but also encountered far from land, that in the male may attain a length of 19½ to 23 feet (six to seven meters), and that has been known to attack humans
