Definition of landside 

1 : the side of something near water that is turned toward the land

2 obsolete : shore

3 : the side of a furrow next to the land in plowing

4 : a sidepiece opposite the plow moldboard sometimes forming a V with the share edge (as in a bar share) or consisting of a revolving disk wheel that guides the plow and receives the side pressure when the furrow is turned
