Definition of Treblinka

  1. village 50 miles (80 kilometers) northeast of Warsaw in eastern Poland, Treblinka was the site of two Nazi facilities in World War II. The first one was a forced labor camp that was established in 1941, and the second one, located one mile (1.6 kilometers) away, was a major extermination camp that was put into operation in July 1942.
