When:

Lookups spiked on March 30, 2013.

Why:

When North Korea announced that it was aiming rockets at South Korea, Hawaii, and the U.S. territory of Guam, the Pentagon described this as "bellicose rhetoric."

Bellicose means "favoring or inclined to start quarrels or wars." It comes from the Latin word for "war," bellum.

Another Washington Defense official used a perfect synonym for bellicose when describing North Korea's announcement: "We have no indications at this point that it's anything more than warmongering rhetoric."
