News coverage of Prince George's royal playdate ...

When:

Lookups spiked on April 9, 2014.

Why:

Prince George, who is third in line to succeed Queen Elizabeth as monarch of Britain, had a playdate with other toddlers during a royal visit to New Zealand - the Prince's first official engagement. The healthy baby boy was reported to have stolen a plastic building block from a little girl while playing, but the incident passed without diplomatic consequences. The dad of another child said of Prince George: "He's a lovely little boy, he's...yes, he's very intrepid."

Intrepid means "feeling no fear" or "very bold or brave." It comes from the Latin words meaning "not alarmed."

CNN's reporter concluded his report on the future king's playdate with this thought: "It is, perhaps, the most normal he'll ever feel.
