Why:

On ABC's "This Week," conservative commentator George Will said that Donald Trump was a "bloviating ignoramus" who would hurt Mitt Romney's presidential bid.

"Bloviate" is an American English word that means "to speak or write verbosely and windily," and was probably derived from "blow."

Though it has plenty of use today, it is most famously associated with Warren G. Harding (1865-1923), a President known for his verbal stumbles and empty oratory.
