Medical Definition of VASOVAGAL SYNCOPE

:  a usually transitory condition that is marked especially by fainting associated with hypotension, peripheral vasodilation, and bradycardia resulting from increased stimulation of the vagus nerve—called also neurocardiogenic syncope, vasodepressor syncope
