Biographical Note for PIGNET INDEX
Pi·gnet \pē-nʸā\ Maurice–Charles–Joseph (born 1871), French physician. Pignet, who had a career as an army doctor, introduced the Pignet index in 1900. He also is credited with introducing a new method for the chemical analysis of water in 1902.
