Biographical Note for NABOTHIAN CYST
Na·both \ˈnä-ˌbȯt\ , Martin (1675–1721), German anatomist and physician. Naboth described the mucous glands of the uterine cervix in 1707. At the same time he noted small cysts in these glands caused by blockage of the outflow of the secretion but he thought that they were ova.
