Biographical Note for MILLER-ABBOTT TUBE
Miller, Thomas Grier (1886–1981), and Abbott, William Osler (1902–1943), American physicians. Miller and Abbott introduced their intestinal tube in 1934. Three years later Abbott devised another tube, this one for use in the postoperative care of gastroenterostomy cases.
