Biographical Note for MALLORY'S TRIPLE STAIN

Mallory, Frank Burr (1862–1941), American pathologist. Mallory spent almost all of his career on the staff of Harvard Medical School and in the pathology department of Boston City Hospital. A pioneer in histopathology and pathologic techniques, he developed many differential tissue stains that came into wide use. He introduced his stain for connective tissue in 1900.
