Definition of LISSAUER'S TRACT

Biographical Note for LISSAUER'S TRACT

Lissauer, Heinrich (1861–1891), German neurologist. Lissauer published a description of the dorsolateral tract in the spinal cord in 1885. He died before he could publish his observations on an atypical general paresis marked by aphasia, convulsions, and monoplegia. His description was published posthumously in 1901.
