Biographical Note for KüMMELL'S DISEASE

Küm·mell \ˈkue-məl\ Hermann (1852–1937), German surgeon. Kümmell discovered in 1891 a syndrome that results from traumatic spondylitis and published a description of Kümmell's disease in 1892.
