Biographical Note for PATAU SYNDROME

Patau, Klaus (flourished 1960), American (German-born) geneticist. Associated with the University of Wisconsin at Madison, Patau and his colleagues in 1960 became the first to attribute the syndrome of trisomy to the chromosome numbered 13.
