Biographical Note for KANNER'S SYNDROME
Kanner, Leo (1894–1981), American psychiatrist. For most of his career Kanner was associated with Johns Hopkins University as a professor of psychiatry and as a child psychiatrist. The author of many books, he published a textbook on child psychiatry in 1957 and a history of the study and care of the mentally retarded in 1964.
