Biographical Note for FOWLER'S SOLUTION
Fowler, Thomas (1736–1801), British physician. Fowler in 1786 published a collection of medical reports on the effectiveness of arsenic in the treatment of agues, fevers, and headaches. One of the remedies discussed was the potassium arsenite solution now known as Fowler's solution.
