Biographical Note for FEHLING'S SOLUTION

Fehling, Hermann von (1812–1885), German chemist. Fehling is known for his work in analytical and industrial chemistry. In 1848 he published an article on analyzing the quantity of sugar in urine in which he introduced his test for the determination of reducing sugars using a solution that he formulated.
