Biographical Note for EWING'S SARCOMA

Ewing, James (1866–1943), American pathologist. Ewing was a recognized authority on the diagnosis and management of neoplastic diseases and the author of a standard text on the subject. His description of reticulum cell sarcoma was published in 1913. He described the disease now known as Ewing's sarcoma or tumor in 1921.
