:  a fatal toxemia of sheep associated with simultaneous infection by liver flukes (Fasciola hepatica) and an anaerobic toxin-producing clostridium (Clostridium novyi) and characterized by liver necrosis and subcutaneous hemorrhage—compare blackleg, braxy, liver rot, malignant edema
