Merriam-Webster and Goyal Introduce Local Editions to India

SPRINGFIELD, MASS., March 2004 — Merriam-Webster Inc., America's leading language reference publisher, has joined forces with Goyal Publishers and Distributors (P) Ltd, to produce high-quality local editions of a number of its products for the Indian market, including the new Eleventh Edition of the best-selling Merriam-Webster's Collegiate® Dictionary.

Along with Merriam-Webster's Collegiate Dictionary, Goyal Publishers and Distributors will be offering paperback and pocket-sized dictionaries as well as Merriam-Webster's Collegiate Thesaurus, Merriam-Webster's Vocabulary Builder, Merriam-Webster's Crossword Puzzle Dictionary, Merriam-Webster's Medical Dictionary, and The Merriam-Webster Dictionary of Quotations.
