Note: Name introduced by the French entomologist Étienne Mulsant (1797-1880), in the monograph Species des coléoptères trimères sécuripalpes (usually cited as 2. série, tome 2 [1850] of the Annales of the Société nationale d'Agriculture de Lyon), pp. 901-02. See note at Vedalia .
