Faxa Bay
Inlet of the North Atlantic Ocean, southwestern coast of Iceland. At 30 mi (50 km) deep and 50 mi (80 km) long, it is the largest in Iceland. The main ports along the bay are Akranes and Reykjavík, Iceland's capital.
